GWHC continued their 6 game unbeaten run with a 4-1 win over Herne Bay. The game started very well for GWHC, when, with the first penalty corner of the game, Chris Tomkinson delivered a drag flick which was stopped on the line by the Herne Bay player's body, resulting in a penalty flick. The flick was expertly dispatched by Paul Bullard, giving GWHC a 1-0 lead. Tomkinson was not to be denied his goal however, as 30 seconds after the restart a turnover in the middle of the pitch lead to a simple goal at the back post from a Harry Yeates pass. Just minutes after that, Zak Rowland showed skill and composure as he rounded the goal keeper slotting it home into an empty net from a James Mills assist. GWHC were not done however, as Tomkinson got his second goal from Zak Rowland. In what was a high scoring affair, the team owed much to MOTM Keaton Gates in goal, who produced several excellent saves in the second half.
