GW delivered a dominant performance, cruising to a 7-0 win over Folkstone in a thrilling display of attacking prowess and solid defence.

Captain James Zygmant set the tone early, opening the scoring within the first five minutes. He didn’t stop there, completing a first half hat-trick with two more expertly finished goals. Vice-Captain Andy Franklin also contributed to the commanding lead, finding the back of the net to make it 4-0. Dave Elliot capped off a relentless first half by adding another goal, sending GW into the break with a comfortable 5-0 advantage.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with GW maintaining control and staying on the attack. After some excellent build up play, Mason Lock added his name to the scoresheet, pushing GW further ahead. Dave Elliot rounded out the scoring with his second goal of the match, sealing an emphatic 7-0 victory.

Man of the Match honours went to Lucas Roberts, whose outstanding defensive performance ensured that Folkstone rarely threatened throughout the game. GW’s all round performance was a showcase of their quality and teamwork, with every player contributing to the convincing win.
