GW extended their perfect start to the season with a convincing 3-0 win over Herne Bay, making it five wins from five games. It was another all-round stellar performance from the team, who dominated from start to finish.

The first goal came early in the first half, with Mason Lock calmly slotting the ball into the back of the net after a brilliant pass from Dave Elliot, who was a creative force throughout the match. GW continued to press, and their efforts paid off when vice-captain Andy Franklin doubled the lead with a clinical finish from a short corner. This saw the first half end 2-0 in favor of GW.

The second half followed much the same pattern, with GW controlling possession and dictating the pace of the game. Herne Bay struggled to break through a solid GW defense and found it difficult to gain any momentum. Mason Lock sealed the victory with his second goal of the match, once again assisted by the ever-reliable Dave Elliot, putting the finishing touches on a dominant 3-0 performance.
